Re: They don't even ship ammo to CA?
Lots of people are tired of Komifornia's laws and will not ship to that commie state. Look at Gunbroker.com, most people there will not ship to CA. I hope that in the future NOBODY will do business with California. Maybe that will wake up the people that live there.

Plenty of people ARE awake in California. We have much more volume to fight than you fine folks in other states.
I have twice the entire population of montana within 10 minutes of me. (I'm at work.) That being said, I'd take 1 Montanan for every 10 Californians, they don't take crap and they have the arms to back it up. People out here are ineffectual at best. |

Simply write a polite letter to various public servants and ask questions. For instance, the Declaration of Independence states that governments in these united States are instituted to (a) secure rights, and (b) govern by consent, would they be so kind as to explain which private right is secured by (specific legislation you are interested in) or where you gave consent to be governed by its terms? In 1993, I wrote a simple letter asking where the court got its authority to inflict involuntary servitude upon me. The court officer wrote a concise reply: The Social Security Act of 1935. As you may already know, there is no law compelling participation and no law punishes one who does not participate. It is 100% voluntary - voluntary servitude - legal slavery. Government is your servant - unless you consented to be its servant. Ask how you became a person liable to obey. Ask where they got authority to do something that the private person is forbidden to do. Ask what the jurisdictional limits of their authority is. Even the infamous gun bans are inapplicable on private property. In law, private property is that which is absolutely owned by an individual. Of course, socialism abolishes private property. But if you're not a socialist, aren't you private property? If you don't absolutely own your person (body), who does? And if YOU are private property, you are not a "person liable" to obey rules that do not apply to private property. Check your state's constitution regarding private property. Remember, estate (real and personal property) is held with qualified ownership, and is not private property. States do have authority to tax and regulate estate. That's why they can confiscate real estate for nonpayment of taxes and not pay just compensation. If you extrapolate on the idea of asking questions, can you imagine the effect of ten million polite letters arriving in the offices of government? I think they'd become berry berry frightened by such events far more than an armed march on a capitol. It would add new meaning to the phrase "Going Postal on Them!" |

Normally we're on the same wavelength, but not so this time. No offense to my dear brother from TN, but you're looking at this all wrong. Not selling to the resistance fighters in CA doesn't hurt the gov, it only gives the gov what it wants and weakens the resistance. The proper answer is to sell MORE to patriots behind the lines, and give the gov the bird. Where business should NOT be done is with ANY CA gov agencies or law enforcement organizations (EX: Barrett & LAPD). That WILL bring about the change we seek. But as long as firearm and ammo manufacturers continue to say "well, xyz ban doesn't affect our LE sales, so..." the everyday man is screwed, and nothing changes. Consider these things... |
Re: They don't even ship ammo to CA?
If the majority of people in California want change all they need do is vote. If the majority want socialism then that is what they will get. I guess you have to decide if the perks of living in that state outweigh the restrictions on your personal freedoms. Currently you do not need the governments permission to move so staying there is a choice. I know many will say they can't afford to move but given the lower cost of living in other states that is a weak argument.

Re: They don't even ship ammo to CA?
The trouble with writing to Congressmen is that no matter how many calls/letters they get concerning an issue, they just lie and say that they're getting those calls from people who support their commie agenda. The other problem in Ca. is that there are so many immigrants (illegal and other) that they are close to being a majority. This state is basically lost (almost) as far as voting goes. I maintain that as soon as California get's an Hispanic Governor, it's basically over. This place will officially be Northern Mexico.

Re: They don't even ship ammo to CA?
More reasons not to do business with PRK...
CA Assembly Bill 2062, authored by State Assembly Member Kevin De Leon (D-45), would make it a crime to privately transfer more than 50 rounds of ammunition per month, even between family and friends, unless you are registered as a "handgun ammunition vendor" in the Department of Justice's database. Ammunition retailers would have to be licensed and store ammunition in such a manner that it would be inaccessible to purchasers. The bill would also require vendors to keep a record of the transaction including the ammunition buyer's name, driver's license, the quantity, caliber, type of ammunition purchased, and right thumbprint, which would be submitted to the Department of Justice. All ammunition sales in the state of California would be subject to a $3 per transaction tax. Lastly, mail order ammunition sales would be prohibited. Any violator of AB2062 would be subject to civil fines. AB2062 was amended to remove the requirement that law-abiding gun owners obtain a permit to purchase handgun ammunition. You gun owners in Kali aren't fighting hard enough! |
